I find its about self control -if you find yourself considering a drink when you wake up then you know its time to get help, and good luck to anyone who does find this applies to them.
But as far as I'm concerned, if I want to go and have two or three bottles of wine, if? I fancy 10 pints then its my responsibility as an adult to be accountable for it.
If you find yourself losing control, don't blame booze, it's your own choices. Make the choice to get help, the services and good people are there

I quit drinking three months ago after many? years of abuse. I'd be lying if I said that it's been totally easy, but it's getting easier, and there are lots of positive sides to giving up. I look better, I've lost weight and my skin is clearer, I am now sleeping the night through, and I have lots of energy. I'm just waiting for the day to arrive that I no longer think about it. I don't need a doctor to tell me what's common knowledge. Little kids know that alcohol is an unnatural with a few exceptions. Most of us knew with our first puff of smoke, that it? was not intended for consumption and our lungs rejected it's invasion as well as our light heads. I just like to cut through the crap and admit to myself if not to anybody else, that I'm drinking and smoking with the knowledge it has an ill effect on my health.
